In Loving Memory Of Dylan
James Corcoran

James possesses one of the most amazing talents and knowledge as far as animals are concerned. He has the ability to transform an animal in which a person might consider to be a problem to a disciplined and loving pet, to James it's an animal which doesn't necessarily lack love and attention, but has more deep seated issues including the owner!

I have witnessed, many times, his ability to transform a problem dog into a very submissive, obedient, tender loving animal by simply walking into a room and spending a few moments with them. He was born with a natural animal instinct and an amazing positive energy generated by love which animals as well as people can sense and feel from simply being in the same room as him.

I am very honored and proud to be part of a family which is formed by love and positive energy which are a great part of creating and keeping a true loving and united "PACK". I am very honored and proud to introduce you to a true dog behaviorist, James Corcoran.

James & Dylan

James reflects on his first pet, an adorable Beagle mix called 'Dylan', named by his sister Sandy and brother-in-law Peter. He was a child and Dylan was his best friend. James wasn't a very popular child in his neighborhood. A lot of the kids thought he was either 'weird' or a 'snob' because he went to a private school and that wasn't the "norm" in this middle class neighborhood situated in Liverpool, England. So Dylan was an important part of his growth into adulthood

"Funny really, I didn't put that much on it, I thought it was normal that kids play with their dogs all the time. It's not that I didn't have friends, I just loved the dog more. I would walk behind Dylan and he would constantly check on me. When the opportunity arose, I would dive into a hiding place and he would try and find me. I thought I was being clever, but Dylan knew where I was. He was definitely in control. I had watched him smell out a bird that had fallen from his nest. He didn't kill it he just looked at me with one paw in the pointer position. Wow ..... I remember that was a powerful moment, he was showing me how things go in the wild .... he was teaching me. As a child that's how I thought, but that thought has never left, so maybe that's exactly what he was doing."

Dylan was always at his side playing as well as protecting him. Dylan was a "powerhouse" for such a small dog and lived an active and healthy life. Dylan passed at an unbelievable age of 21 years  old in August 1990. He was a friend that James will always remember and an important part of his life. The picture above is all that is physically left but the memories are things that will stay with James forever.

"Why do I do this? because I love it! who wouldn't want to be able to honestly say that about what it is they do for a living and are passionate about?" - James Corcoran
