This program is designed to change the way we look at our dogs and teach the owners to make their lives easier to live in harmony with their beloved dog. It is important that we as responsible dog owners understand not only the "how", but the "what, why, where and when" so we see less dogs in the shelters and more dogs happily living with their loving families.
We believe that to remove a dog away from his or her home to fix a problem only fixes the issue during their stay with us. Commonly what happens is that, on return to the home, the behavior eventually returns in over 75% of the cases we have seen. The owners have to be the integral part of the training.
We take "Special Cases" in, however, we don't "kennel" dogs. We bring them into the pack. My pack live in my home. If your dog comes to us, he or she will be integrated into our pack and home to understand what it means to live as a family, to become associated with people, understand the position of us as owners and to enjoy the experience.
Implementing techniques that you can handle. Performing "Dominance", "Physical Handling" or "Alpha Roling" methods sometimes can be very dangerous. These techniques can cause injury and severe liability issues. We will not leave you with information that you are not comfortable with or can not perform alone.
We tailor our service to the situation. There is no "one method fix all" approach even though the philosophy is similar. Both Humans and Canines have different rules and needs, so it is imperative that we cater to those needs in order to create harmony in the home.
Non-aggressive techniques are the best way to deal with most situations. If a dog is willing to strike, we would cater to the safety of everyone. It is not that we refuse to restrain an animal, rather that be the last resort so as not to exacerbate the situation.
We will be do whatever it takes to help you with your issue utilizing many techniques to help you and your canine companion. We are honest, efficient and understanding of your case, no matter what it might be.
